Focus:
-
Using shadows and contrast to capture movement - hustle and bustle of city life in a subtle and effortless way
-
Use the urban landscape of lines, edges and urban shapes, patterns, feature walls for:
-
Balance and symmetry
-
Composition, framing and geometric structure
-
-
Soft (thematic) colour palette I did attempt to show this (as seen in my experiments), but in my end product, I decided to keep my photos consistent with a black and white theme. It seemed to give the photographs more depth and meaning. And was very 'street photography' appropiate.

I am interested in photography's ability to capture the
beauty in the mundane of everyday city life.
